  • Extensive first chair jury trial and arbitration experience including seven and eight figure awards for claimants in arbitration and several verdicts and/or awards for defendants or respondents in cases with multi-million dollar exposure.
  • Trial experience includes contract, securities, M&A litigation, trade secret, false advertising and professional negligence.
  • Experienced in merger and acquisition litigation and arbitration, including pre-closing disputes, post-closing adjustment and earn-out cases, and fraud and breach of representation/warranty claims.
  • Representation of major manufacturers as plaintiffs and defendants in contract, warranty, trade secret and other business tort cases.
  • Has represented issuers, investment advisors, collateral managers, outside directors, audit committee members and other fiduciaries in securities litigation.

  • Represented an equity committee successfully challenging the sale of a bankrupt corporation’s disaster recovery business after the market for such services was radically changed by the September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Center.
  • Represented a healthcare company and trainer in one of the first lawsuits seeking recovery for concussion injuries of a professional football player.
  • Represented the estate and trust of the inventor of kitty litter in a challenge to disposition of his $300 million estate.
  • Represented newly licensed casinos in Illinois and Indiana in major ownership disputes.
  • Handled dozens of arbitration matters as an advocate, including AAA, CPR and CBOE arbitrations.
